Early Name Reservation comes with any WoW: Forever upgrade pack and lets you make three characters total, across all rulesets. Make the one you care most about first. If you didn't buy a pack, you'll pick names at launch like everyone else. [source] [source]

Who can reserve
- Early Name Reservation is "included with any upgrade purchase": the Skyborne Heroic Pack, Skyborne Epic Pack, or Warcraft Forever Collection. [source]
- Up to three characters total across all rulesets. Make two on PvP and you only get one more on Normal or Roleplaying. The limit only applies during early reservation. [source]
- Names are first-come, first-served, and Blizzard says desired names can't be guaranteed. [source]
How names work now
- Every character has two names, like a first and last name. The full pair must be unique in your region, because there are no realms. Two players can share a first name if their second names differ. [source]
- You can hide your second name in the world (Options → Nameplates → "My Secondary Name"), but it still shows in chat. [source]
- The name filter checks both parts together, so splitting a blocked word across the two won't get it through. [source]
How to reserve (Blizzard's steps)
- Update graphics drivers and the Battle.net app.
- Select World of Warcraft → Game Version menu → World of Warcraft: Forever → Install.
- Press Play, choose your ruleset, and create up to 3 characters. Not sure which ruleset? See Rulesets explained. [source]
